Kokila Update

Here is a recent message from Kokila:
Greetings! Your message was kindly translated into Telugu by our project staff, and I read it out to my mother and father. Through your letter, we learned more about you and your life there. You beautifully described the historic buildings in your town and shared how you enjoy being there, helping us understand everything so well. Here, we don’t have many tall buildings like you do, and learning that you also celebrated Mother’s Day happily brought us great joy.
I really like biryani and mango pickle is one of my favourite things to eat with it! I love playing kho-kho; it’s the game I enjoy most at school, especially during break time with my friends. You taught us about self-protection and shared valuable knowledge. That made me feel very happy and thankful.
Now it’s the rainy season here. The rains have arrived beautifully, and the weather has become cool and pleasant. During this season, sorghum crops grow very well in our area. When they ripen, we roast and eat them hot it's very tasty.
I really love going to school. When I go, I feel happy because I get to study well and build a good future. My dream is to become a good teacher when I grow up. That’s why I wake up early every day and get ready on time to go to school. I also have wonderful friends at school Mounika, Lakshmi, Sameera, and Bhulakshmi. I wanted you to know their names because they mean a lot to me. We enjoy studying and playing together. We’re also guided by a kind and caring teacher named Jyoshna Devi. She teaches us Science and Telugu and helps us learn with love and patience. Among all the subjects, my favourite is English. I enjoy learning it very much.
