MEET THE ARTIST: Egle Miller
Since I was a small child growing up in Lithuania, I enjoyed all things fragrant, although as part of the USSR beautiful things were few and far between. My grandma had an opportunity to travel to East Germany with work and brought a suitcase full of beautifully wrapped, incredibly fragrant soaps home. It soon became my favorite thing to play with, smell and imagine. Fast forward a few decades, having an opportunity to travel some of our beautiful planet, we have settled in sunny California. Like many people, having small children followed by the pandemic, I felt that I needed to reevaluate life and identify what is important to me and sparks joy. Making cold and hot process soap took me exactly to that place, and now after two plus years learning and testing soaps, I feel that it’s time for me to share my creations with the world. I have been very careful selecting my natural and sustainable ingredients, using skin-loving oils, butters, clays, silk, and others to create my handmade soaps from scratch. In addition to that I love creating fragrant and eye-catching designed bars using only premium colorants, essential and fragrance oils. I get my inspiration from traveling, exploring new places, revisiting memories, books, films...
